Arrive at the airport where your driver guide shall be waiting to warmly receive and welcome you to this beautiful country Uganda. After a brief from the driver you will then set off and transfer to your reserved accommodation in Kampala. The drive from Entebbe to Kampala would take between 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions. Check in for your meals and overnight at the accommodation. Have an early breakfast and leave for Lake Mburo National Park by 7.00am. The park is situated approximately 240km along the Kampala – Mbarara highway and will take 3 to 4 hours to reach. Lake Mburo is a pretty small game park covering only about 260 square kilometers. It is in fact the smallest of Uganda’s savanna parks.
However, it harbors so much natural beauty that you will be amazed! Its scenery is really beautiful and offers the best sightings for several herbivores including Zebra, Impala, Topi, Eland, and Buffalo. 68 Mammals have been recorded and others include roan antelope, hyena, jackals, crocodiles, hippos, and leopard among others. Birdlife is quite impressive too with about 350 species so far recorded.
Get to the park with great views of the grassy rolling hills. After clearance at the park entrance, transfer to your accommodation, driving along the game tracks and sighting some game. Check in at your accommodation, have lunch and refresh. Later you’ll head out for an afternoon Boat Ride on Lake Mburo. A relaxing ride of about 2 hours, expect sighting hippos, crocodiles, lots of birds and some game along the shores taking a drink. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast check out and continue to Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s second deepest lake. Set among the enormous Kigezi Highlands, Lake Bunyonyi is iconic for its serene and cool atmosphere, abundant birdlife, and surrounding green scenery of the terraced Kigezi Highlands. Its waters are believed to be Bilharzia Free hence safe for swimming.
The drive to Lake Bunyonyi would take 3 to 4 hours. Check in at your accommodation for lunch, relaxation and overnight.

After an early cup of tea, set out for a canoe ride on the lake. It is quite cold by this time, and the area is engulfed in mist, making the sight across the lake to the highlands a mystic one! Return to the accommodation for breakfast, check out and depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of half of the world’s endangered Mountain Gorillas. Check in at your accommodation for your meals and overnight.

Wake up to an early breakfast, get your trekking attire on, pick your packed lunch and transfer to the ranger station by 7:30 am. You’ll gather with the rest of the trekkers for assigning of gorilla families and briefing on safe gorilla trekking from the rangers. Bwindi is divided into three gorilla trekking regions, that is; Buhoma, Ruhija and Nkuringo. Each region harbors a number of gorilla families.
We secure your gorilla permit for a particular region and on the tracking day the rangers divide and allocate the visitors to each gorilla family in that region, putting a number of factors into consideration such as the ability to track distant and challenging families. However no more 8 trekkers can be assigned to one gorilla family.
After briefing you’ll transfer to the trail head and head into the awe-inspiring thick forest to find your gorilla family. Depending on the location of the gorillas, you’ll take from a few hours to several hours before you find the group. But you’ll not miss them. You’ll be allowed up to 1 hour with the gorillas, an hour you shall forever cherish. Return to find your driver and transfer to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular savanna reserve. With sprawling grassy hills dotted with sparkling lakes set deep into the crater valley, Queen Elizabeth offers one of the most breathtaking sceneries in Uganda. The park hosts a wide variety and volume of wildlife.
Driving to the park takes between 3 to 4 hours, transfer to your lodge for relaxation, meals and overnight.

Wake up to an early cup of coffee and by 7:00 am you set off for the early game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. An early start offers a good chance of catching the elusive nocturnal and predators before retreating to their hideouts.
Expect to view Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Buffaloes, Elephants, Uganda Kob, Warthogs, Baboons, Jackals, Waterbucks, Bushbucks, grazing Hippos. Game viewing shall go on for about four hours before returning to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
Later set out for the afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel for an opportunity of viewing lots of wildlife up close: Hippos, Crocodiles, Monitor Lizards, and Buffalos are common along the channel. Game such as Elephants and Antelopes often come down to cool off, drink and eat the fresh grass along the channel. The Channel is literally a bird magnet! Among the common and conspicuous species include Pied and Malachite Kingfisher, African Fish Eagle, Cormorants, Skimmers, Saddle-billed Stork, and Pelicans among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After early breakfast check out and depart for Kibale National Park. Expect to arrive at your lodge in time for early lunch. You’ll transfer to the ranger station by 1.30pm for the afternoon chimpanzee tracking experience. You’ll get briefing from the rangers and by 2pm you head into Kibale National Park to track habituated Chimpanzees.
The chimp trekking experience isn’t as strenuous as the gorilla trek since the terrain is relatively flat and not very rough and the chimps do not get so distant. You are allowed up to 1 hour to watch these delightful apes as the play and squabble in the fruiting trees and you won’t help realizing how closely related they are to us humans.
Return and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After early breakfast embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll have lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight is at your reserved lodge.

After an early cup of tea set off for an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Expect to see Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Uganda Kob, Oribi, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Leopard, Hyena, Giraffe, and Hippos. After four hours of wonderful game viewing return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
Later set out for the afternoon boat cruise on the Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. Expect to see lots of Hippos and Nile Crocodiles, Buffalos, Warthogs, Uganda Kob and many Antelopes and other wildlife congregate along the shores to drink and cool off the scorching sun.
When you get to the base of the falls, you could leave the boat and take a 45 minutes hike around these explosive waterfalls. The Nile squeezes through a small cleft of only 7 meters wide and explodes into the world’s strongest waterfall. The hike offers the best experience of the Murchison Falls and incredible picture moments. When you get to the top the driver shall be there waiting for you and thereafter transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast check out and drive to the top of the Murchison Falls. This, however depends on whether you didn’t take the hike after the boat cruise the previous day; otherwise you’ll just proceed out of the park. You’ll make an en-route stopover in Masindi town for a lunch break before continuing and making another stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakansogola.
The Sanctuary is the only place harboring rhinos in the wild in Uganda. It is a Rhino breeding program aimed at reintroducing the Rhinos back in Uganda after they were wiped out by poachers and instability. You’ll set out along with an armed ranger on a trek to track these graceful animals. A number of other wildlife inhibits the sanctuary including bushbucks, leopards, hippos, crocodiles and several birds.
After successful Rhino tracking you’ll have surely completed the “Big Five” and thereafter proceed to Kampala and transfer to the airport for your evening flight back home.
